WELCOME TO THE BARROW FLOODLIT 7s @ The Park Leisure Centre
With 19 teams competing in the two leagues we were forced to play a preliminary round in the cup to reduce the teams to 16. In the preliminary games QCR went out to Barracelona 3-1, FC Zenit lost 7-4 to Lokomotive after taking a 3-0 lead and in the tie of the round FC Barrow from the Premier League defeated Division 1's Premier Paving 4-3. The draw for the 2nd round will be made soon and the fixtures will be published on the fixtures/results page.
In the only league game of the night, the Barra Boys defeated Thorncliffe Dynamo 4-2, but the kids from Thorncliffe can be proud of their performance and must be confident of performing better as the season goes on and they get used to the physical side of open age football.
